Greg Meurer grew up in the west side of Cincinnati. After graduating from Columbia University Law School, he returned to Cincinnati and practiced law for over twenty years. In the mid 90s, Greg was recruited to join Cincinnati Fiberglass as CFO, a small manufacturer with an eye toward growth.

Greg has over thirty years experience as a senior business executive and business lawyer in Cincinnati.  He served as both CFO and COO of Cincinnati Fiberglass, a Tier 1 supplier to the quality leader in the Class 8 Heavy Truck industry. Working closely with the company’s CEO and owner, he recruited and developed a management team during a period of substantial growth, developed and managed the quality systems, developed IT solutions, championed continuous improvement and managed all aspects of operations.  Greg also managed the Company’s banking relationship and financial reporting. Greg also executed the transition of Cincinnati Fiberglass to its new owner.

After executing the Cincinnati Fiberglass exit strategy for its owner, Greg began to explore the next stage of his career. This led to building a small business consulting practice starting in 2007 and becoming associated with RS Management Group.

Together with the team at RS Management he has developed a succession planning system to help privately held businesses set goals, assess their situations to achieve successful transitions. Greg has helped businesses complete family transitions and various types of other exit strategies, including buy-to-grow-to-sell, straight sales, ESOPs, joint venture effective divestitures and other strategies.

As a lawyer in private practice Greg advised his clients’ senior management in all business related matters.  Representing both private and public companies, acquisitive individuals and private equity firms, he has extensive experience in mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, business restructuring, financing of growth and managing banking relationships. For his family owned business clients, Greg developed and helped execute succession plans, transitions and exit strategies.
